ABOUT US
The North Hudson Fire Department was created in January 1999. It is a combination of five professional Hudson County New Jersey departments. The cities of Union City, North Bergen, West New York, Weehawken and Guttenburg lie just west of New York City's Manhattan. The experiment of combing these five departments into one was the first of its kind in the state of New Jersey.
The North Hudson Fire Officer's Association is a labor union that represents the department members that have attained the rank of Captain, Battalion Chief and Deputy Chief.
We are produly affiliated as Local 26 with the New Jersey FMBA.
